We have been Registered Carriers with the Environment Agency since 1994, so for the last
17 years we have kept up to date with all the latest legislation's and policies. During this time the uses of used cooking have changed considerably. In the UK more than 10,000 tonnes of Used Cooking Oil is produced every week. The EU legislation now prevents this being used in animal feed so the majority of it is recycled and used as bio diesel.
Reducing the country's carbon footprint isn’t something that any one company can achieve
on its own, but Fish Trade Supplies and its customers are helping and contributing to a
reduction in greenhouse gases.
We can make collections weekly, fortnightly or as required Just discuss with our sales department how frequently you would like us to call. We provide all our customers with appropriate containers or if preferred oil can be returned in its original container. We also provide transfer notes stating the amount collected showing you are complying safely and environmental friendly with your waste
disposal.
